Camus, Aimee and E. Camus: Notes de Botanique pour les annees 1885 to 1936,
of about 410 offprints of Aimee Camus and 40 of Edmond Camus, from several journals, mostly being the Bulletin de la Societe Botanique de France a.o., including a nice photograph of Edmond Camus and several plates. In 5 h.cloth vols.* A fine and important collection on botanical and floral offprints many on France, Madagascar, Indochine with some pencilnotes and some are signed. As far as we can see there are only a few duplicates. Includes such items as: Notes floristiques sur la Chaine des Aravis et les environs de la Clusaz (Haute-Savoie) (1903); A contribution to the study of spontaneous hybrids in the European flora (1907); Des matieres premieres d'origine vegetale employees dans la Vannerie, la Sparterie et la Tonnellerie (1912); Etude botanique des Menthes cultivees (1911); le Popowica Capea (1913); Fagacees from the Flore generale de l'Indochine by Hickel and Camus (several). Also included are some other botanical authors. It comes from the personal library of Aimee Camus and most probably it is all that she has published between 1885 and 1936! Durch seinen literarischen und persönlichen Kampf gegen die Absurdität avancierte Albert Camus zu den Klassikern in Literatur und Philosophie. Das Absurde bildet jedoch nur den Ausgangspunkt seines Denkens, wie der Franzose selbst oft bestätigte.
