Offered is a Near Fine buckram bound copy of Physical Review. Second Series Vol. 85 Jan-Mar 1952. The three papers are on pages 934-936. They are Numbers 248-250 in "The Collected Works of Enrico Fermi". H. L. Anderson comments in part: "...He (Fermi) had studied these pi-mesons and he could tell how they interacted with the nucleons. He had the facts about this, and also some explanation, and underlying, an important principle. In the strong interaction between the pion and the nucleon, the isotopic spin was conserved. Thus, an old idea, hitherto rather neglected, assumed new importance" (Collected papers of Enrico Fermi vol. II page 835).

However, it was finally exploited without reference, in the 1934 monumental conclusive paper by Fermi and Amaldi on the statistcal model for atoms.
