L'exposition entend reveler la modernite picturale du peintre et situer son oeuvre dans le contexte de la peinture de la fin du XIXeme siecle et du debut du XXeme siecle. A cette occasion, le Musee Charlier presentera une serie des meilleures oeuvres du peintre realisees a Bruxelles et a Mol-Achterbos de 1888 a 1928.
