470 g.; VIII, 720 pages, last page blank, the preface (1928), the preface (1662) appendix, and index. Maroon coloured leather with gilt titles to the backstrip. There are five raised bands on the backstrip and gilding to all edges. Maroon coloured endpapers. There is a red faux silk place marker which is fraying at the edges. A little rubbing to the book edges and other side of the backstrip. A few marks to the gilt of the page edges and some of the building has started to wear in places. There is a gift inscription, the full length of the page, on the verso of the free front end paper. The book of Common prayer for the Church of England, additionally there are hymns and other general services for use within the church included.
