Very Good
a very good copy - This is the First Edition of Black Sunday by Thomas Harris. New York: Putnam, 1975. It is the First Printing, with no additional printings indicated on the copyright page.Condition is Very Good price-clipped dust jacket, which shows the ISBN but not the price. Code 7501 on lower left of front dj flap. Jacket shows light soiling, light edgewear along the upper front panel, a repaired tear at the hinge, and is clipped at the lower front flap, presumably to remove a bookstore ticket, part of which is still visible. All in all, an attractive copy of the author's first book and the basis for the under-appreciated film of the same name. First Edition Very Good; First Edition

Harris, Thomas. BLACK SUNDAY. New York: Putnam, 1975.
1st edition/1st printing. Author's scarce first book, and signed by the author (in black ink) on the title page. Comes with a letter of authentication from the previous owner who bought the book in 1991 and states that the author signed the book for the original owners (the people whose inscription is on the half title page). Previous owner's inscription on half title page and some very faint surface only scuffs to back binding panel; otherwise a fine, straight & clean book with the gilt still bright on the spine and none of the usual binding edgewear, fading to binding cloth, or bumped corners. The dustjacket is priced clipped, the spine has slightly age darkened, and there are a few very tiny rubs/edge nicks. It is bright, clean, crisp, with none of the usual fading to the red lettering of the author's name on the spine. Overall, probably the best example of this book that I've seen. Made into a movie. ; Signed by Author. 399114432.
1st Edition, Hardcover; 1st Printing, 10, 22, NF/NF.
