De wijzigingen waren minimaal en bestonden grotendeels uit het aanpassen aan de nieuwe spelling. Deze nieuwe vertaling is nu ook als paperback verschenen in de serie uniform uitgevoerde herdrukken van Tolkien van Het Spectrum. In december 2001 is het eerste deel van de verfilming van 'In de ban van de ring' in de bioscoop in premiere gegaan. A nice copy of this scarce long playing recording (Disneyland Recrods Storyteller 3819) of the Rankin/Bass production of author J.R.R. Tolkien's "The Hobbit" starring Orson Bean, Richard Boone, Hans Conried, John Huston, Otto Preminger, Cyril Ritchard, etc. A wonderful recording. Scarce.
