VERY GOOD Limited Edition (#1149 of 1200 copies). Minor edge wear to the corners, the edge of the vellum spine is beginning to pull away fron the front cover, spine lettering is rubbed. Bound in a one-quarter vellum spine and block-printed paper over boards, with matching endpapers. Small quarto volume (7" by10.5"), 91 uncut pages, with bottom & outer pages rough cut. Tissue guard present for the frontispiece portrait. From the colophon page at the rear: "This edition is printed at the University Press, Oxford, in the 17th-century Fell Types. It is limited to 1250 copies, on Vidalon hand-made paper, of which 1200 are for sale in England and America. This is number 1149". .
