This present work complements his earlier book by giving a summary of the Nile system derived from Baker's year-long exploration of all the Abyssinian tributaries of the Nile. Near contemporary cloth, half-title is missing, title and folding map with neat repairs, first and last leaves foxed, occasional neat underlines in the text, otherwise just a few marginal spots.
