First edition? The name "H. Bedford-Jones" is hand printed on the front free endpaper [there was some speculation that this title may have actually been written by H. Bedford-Jones, although I have no idea as to whether or not this attribution has subsequently been either confirmed or refuted. At least one source has suggested possible confusion between the pseudonyms Margaret Love Sanderson and Margaret Love Sangerson, the latter apparently more often attributed to H. Bedford-Jones]. Gray decorated cloth with a pictorial paper insert to the front board, 240 pages plus 6 pages of ads at the rear, frontispiece. Small bookseller's label, rear hinge lightly cracked, else solid VG or better copy [oval pictorial paper illustration affixed to front board as issued].
