unpaginated, ca. 180 pages. Cloth split 2/3 on one side of spine, spine worn at top and bottom, white paint splashes on rear cover. FRirst part of 30-40 pages shows printing machinery and equipment. The second part shows 2044 specimens of printing types covering all subjects like trades, animals, sports, entertainment, transport, borders, ornamental types, etc. etc. Also contains a letter dated 1 May, 1979 from the State Library of Victoria in answer to an inquiry about this book. The letter dates the publication date of this book between 1891 and 1896. The letter also states that the National Union catalogue of monographs and the Mitchell Library dictionary catalog of printed books was searched and no entries for this book were found. S. Cooke were agents for the Caslon Letter Foundry, London. A very rare Australian book on printing. Brown Cloth Folio - over 12" - 15" tall
