One of 154 copies (no. 147) printed by Brother Chapman (i.e. C. G. St. J. Hornby) on unbleached Arnold paper for the Bretheren of the Sette, for their Archives, for Bro. Todhunter, and for good friends. This copy being the personal copy of William Manning with his signature nearby the impressum. "Ye Sette of Odd Volumes" was founded in 1878 by Bernard Quaritch and had initially 21 members, the same number as the Shakespeare edition of 1821 had volumes. William Manning became member in 1889, as Supplemental Odd Volume. - Ashendene Bibliography III. - Inside fine.
