Morgan, Harry/Farrell, Mike/Metcalfe, Burt/Alda, Alan/Dubin, Charles S. Season 1, 3 DVDs, dtsch. u. engl. Version 600 Min. 20TH CENTURY FOX,
Koreakrieg - Tote und Verletzte sind an der Tagesordnung, und die Sinnlosigkeit des Krieges zermürbt das Durchhaltevermögen aller Beteiligten. Doch im M.A.S.H. Episoden: 1. Mobiles Armee Chirurgie (Hospital (Pilot), 2. Angebot, Nachfrage und Prestige (To market, to market), 3. David und Goliath in Korea (Requiem for a Lightweight), 4. Das total verrückte Feldlazarett (Chief Surgeon Who), 5. Über alles geliebte Sklavin (The Moose), 6. Kennen Sie Chirurgen in Uniform (Yankee Doctors), 7. Hilfe, einen Psychiater bitte (Bananas, Crackers and Nuts), 8. Mein lieber, lieber John (Cowboy), 9. Ach Henry, komm doch wieder (Henry, please come Home), 10. Der Dieb will nur das Beste (I hate a Mystery), 11. Eine richtige, schöne Gelbsucht (Germ Warfare), 12. Lieber Papa, mir geht's gut (Dear Dad), 13. Ein Aufstand für Edwina (Edwina), 14. Noch so eine Liebesgeschichte (Love Story), 15. Nun danket alle Tuttle (Tuttle), 16. Nur Leben in die Bude (The Ringbanger), 17. Hörst Du die Kugeln (Sometimes you heard the bullets), 18. ... Und alles splitternackt (Dear Dad ... again), 19. Jeder friert für sich alleine ... (The Longjohn Flap), 20. Ein Blindgänger hat's in sich (The Army-Navy Game), 21. Hier, bitte mal absaugen (Sticky Wicket), 22. Gier, Angst und nochmal Gier (Major Fred C. Dobbs), 23. Unter der Hand gesagt (Ceasefire), 24. Für Manches nicht gut genug (Showtime).

Seuss, Dr. [Geisel, Theodor Seuss (1904-1991)]. A COLOR ILLUSTRATION BY DR. SEUSS ILLUSTRATING THE COVER OF THE MAY 1934 ISSUE OF LIFE MAGAZINE. New York: Life Magazine, 1934.

- Quarto, 11-3/4 inches high by 8-3/4 inches wide. Softcover, bound in glossy pictorial wraps with a superb cover illustration by Dr. Seuss depicting a large colorful bird perched above a gorilla who is seated on a tree branch with her baby in her lap. Commenting on giving birth and the joys of motherhood, the bird states "I know, my dear, but that's NOTHING compared to having an egg!". The corners are creased and there is a vertical crease down the center of the periodical. There is a 3 inch long split along the top of the spine The 50-page periodical is complete and includes black & white illustrations throughout, including contributions by Dr. Seuss, Milt Gross, Edwina, Chon Day, Geo. T. Eggleston, etc. The pages are toned and there is a short tear to the front edge of the last 3 leaves and the rear cover. Good. <p>A superb early illustration by Dr. Seuss.<p>Another illustration by Dr. Seuss, this one black-and-white, illustrates Professor Gurney William's response to a letter on page 34 under the heading of "Queerespondence". This illustration by Dr. Seuss depicts 4 men, in casual business attire, tangled up in the oddest positions in fishing line. The tongue-in-cheek caption below the image reads: "The tangled yarn problem (see text above) as pictured by Dr. Seuss. These members of the Engineers' Club lost their lives in an attempt to unsnarl 200 yards of fishing line. This practice is now prohibited by the Anti-Untangle legislation of 1928."<p>The magazine includes a witty editorial entitled "Moscow-on-the-Hudson" replying to a letter accusing FDR of being equivalent to Stalin and Hitler, The letter to which the editorial replies claimed that the White House "Brain Trust" kept banks from lending money and had brought about the collapse of the banks. An event which had happened during the Hoover administration and which the R.F.C. was, by this time, attempting to remedy by pouring billions into the banking system with the plea that they relend it.
