The WORDSWORTH CIRCLE (TWC). Editor: Marilyn Gaull. Vols. 1-19. Philadelphia, 1970-1988.

Unbound. (ZY21851) Covers the circle of poets around Wordsworth (1770-1850), one of the fathers of the English romantic movement. The Wordsworth Circle is an international quarterly learned journal founded in 1970 to improve communication among colleagues interested in lives, works, and times of the English Romantic writers: Wordsworth, Coleridge, Blake, Hazlitt, De Quincey, Lamb, Southey, Byron, Shelley, Keats, Sir Walter Scott, Jane Austen, the minor and popular writers such as James Hogg, Maria Edgeworth, Leigh Hunt, and Walter Savage Landor. Representing the diversity and range of contemporary professional activity, TWC publishes all forms of legitimate studies in the field: bibliography, textual and historical scholarship, biography, interpretive criticism, interdisciplinary and comparative studies, critical theory, as well as special issues on individual writers, topics, or works, and news of special events, library collections, and conference proceedings - including papers delivered at the annual Wordsworth Summer Conference in Grasmere. Subscribers are member of the Wordsworth-Coleridge Association.
