DJ in VG shape with two closed tears on the front panel. Previous owner's name inscribed to the title page. Text is clean and free of marks, binding tight and solid, boards clean with no wear present. Photos sent upon request. (9) pages of text + 132 plates in black and white of the photographers' work (mostly full-page + 28 pages of Japanese text at back (Short captions in English as well as Japanese, longer explanations as well as texts by Kimura and Nobuo Ina in Japanese) + seperate (8) page advertising section illustrating Japanese photographic equipment and suppliers of the time. The reproduction quality is of course no match for that in the posthumous collections, and what is interesting about this book is the material that the latter drops, for example three photographs from a (demure) striptease performance; mostl of the photographs deal with subjects from Japan, Akita, Kabuki performances, Paris, China, Shanghai and more. 399; 4to 11" - 13" tall; 9 pages
