Green cloth, silver-stamped lettering on spine & on front with laurel branch sketch, viii, 213pp, illustrated throughout with b&w sketches, Later Printing, ca.1950. Sequel to The Golden Name Day. Spine ends & corners very lightly bumped & rubbed, edges lightly faded, institution stamp on front & back endpapers lined out in black, four spots of adhesive residue on back pastedown -- no other library markings on book or dust jacket, text & illustrations quite crisp, clean; and the book is rather tight & square. Dust jacket is significantly worn on the spine & flap bends, with lower half of spine panel lacking & front flap nearly detached, however, the front & back panels & flaps are whole & attractive, with price intact; protected in a new Gaylord archival clear cover. Good Minus Hard Cover 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall Ex-School Library
