Originally published 1896? This novel, subtitled "Being the Adventures of a French Prisoner in England" was left unfinished at Stevenson's death. The novel is brought to a conclusion by a Mr. Quiller-Couch acting on instructions from Stevenson's daughter who served as the writer's secretary. none Very Good. Only blemishes are 1in ink streak on front cover and somerubbing at top of front cover. Top edge of pages gilt, other edges rough cut. Book has been recovered; reprint
