Leather spiral-bound folio, consisting of a SIGNED LETTER by Graeme A. Whitelaw, Charles Luckman Associates, to Robert Wright, City Manager, Peoria, Illinois. Every page or photograph (of varying sizes, but all large) is in an individual plastic sheet protector. This was a preliminary response to the proposal to build the Peoria Civic Center. In addition to the letter, there is a partial list of projects in which Charles Luckman Associates engaged, and information and representative full-page photographs for the Capitol Center, Des Moines, Iowa; Phoenix Civic Center Hall; Phoenix Convention Center; Broadway Plaza, Los Angeles; Madison Square Garden, New York; and The Forum, Los Angeles. Capitol Center plaza has one page of summary text, an artist's rendering aerial view, site plan, and sections view, all in color. Phoenix Civic Center is one page of summary text, photograph at night, plus two full-page interior photographs. Phoenix Convention Center is one page of summary text, interior photograph showing vintage car exhibit in color, and two black and white exterior photographs. Broadway Plaza consists of one page of summary text, exterior aerial shot in color, two internal photographs in color.
