Decorated with 2 large folding maps of the time, 10 full-page engraved plates (5 woodcut plates are numbered 3, 5, 6, 7 and 4 of which four are page numbered on the verso of the plate; 5 woodcut illustrations (numbered 1, 2, 8, 1 and 7 are printed on separate leaves and are integral to collation), woodcut initials, headpieces and tailpieces and other decorations throughout. With the rare title-page and fleuron 1, K4 is recto of plate 3. 4to (180 x 132mm.), antique paper wrappers sometime bound into old dark calf, the spine with raised bands. (18), 217, (3 ) pp. A very well preserved and handsome copy of this rare book, the text-block is in good order, endleaves renewed, the rare engraved illustrations are all in good order.
