th birthday anniversary of Sir Winston Leonard Spencer Churchill, British politician and Prime Minister of Great Britain, soldier, and a prolific historical writer. Churchill is broadly considered the greatest 20
th century political figure in Britain. He won the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1953. Two world wars histories by Churchill are certainly unconventional historical writings, since the author was a central partaker in both stories and took full advantage of that fact in creating his works.
