October 2, 2009 marks 60^th birthday anniversary of Anna-Lou "Annie" Leibovitz, American portrait photographer with a style which is distinct by a pronounced relationship between the subject and the photographer. In the past quarter of a century, Annie Leibovitz presented more photographs of famous people and celebrities than any other photographer. Her images are identifiable for their bright colors, strong lighting, and exclusive and remarkable poses. Through her work Leibovitz has established that she is a master of projecting the popular culture of our time.
