William Butler Yeats 1865 - 1939

June 13th, 2010 marks 145th birthday anniversary of William Butler Yeats, Irish poet, dramatist and prose writer, considered to be one of the greatest English-language poets of the 20th century. William Yeats received the Nobel Prize for Literature and served as an Irish Senator for two terms. Yeats is widely regarded as one of the 20th century's key English language poets.
