th birthday anniversary of William Butler Yeats, Irish poet, dramatist and prose writer, considered to be one of the greatest English-language poets of the 20th century. William Yeats received the Nobel Prize for Literature and served as an Irish Senator for two terms. Yeats is widely regarded as one of the 20th century's key English language poets. He used suggestive descriptions and symbolic structures so in addition to an actual meaning, they imply other abstract thoughts that are more important and resonant.
